Quietly, this year, falling in step with the Gregorian calender, Ramadan begins around the world amid international an domestic scrutiny of the general Muslim populous. The beauty of the culture of the Islamic system of belief is not lost on the nations of terror fighting reprobates. It's humbling to be made aware of such a presence...though no less frightening for the ignorant who can't understand such a selfless resolve. Likened to an attempt to fight as a quiet monk who wants for nothing and cannot be bribed to not see the righteous good.
There is a healthy fear and respect that goes to the man who desires only peace and love for the fellow believers of that sense of peaceful existence. This year amid so much international strife and terrorists pointing the terror reading finger at Muslims of all walks of life...I put the challenge to us all...think, read, challenge the mimetic warfare against you by those who will propagandize your reality until they have terrorized everyone into believing there are terrorists outside of the Pentagon's war room. They will, however, tell us we are at war with an idea, but will not declare the nation at war with the countries that we invade to topple their offending governing bodies and usurp their natural resources...just like the big bully we have become as a marshaled nation.
Hopefully this country will find a better way to interact with the Muslims=at-large, since 1/5 of the world's population is inclined to be Muslim. There has to be some order to the world for at least 40 days and 40 nights....Ramadan...a time of peace and personal growth for the real war of the soul's journey and the war on one's desires, weather on the self or the greater national issues.
Be at peace this Ramadan, get the self awareness of self control, as a national character it would be an improvement.
